Hi!
Alex, the visionary founder of "All K9 Training," is a seasoned professional with an unwavering passion for fostering positive connections between owners and their beloved canine companions. His journey from a young animal enthusiast in Armenia to a leading figure in Los Angeles reflects dedication, expertise, and a deep love for the animal kingdom.
My Story
Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Alex's journey into the world of animals began at the tender age of 6. His deep love for all creatures set the stage for a lifelong connection with the animal kingdom. At the age of 10, he welcomed his first canine companion into his life, marking the beginning of a profound bond with dogs.
By the time Alex was 12, his passion expanded to include not only dogs but also birds and fish. Despite financial constraints, his determination to care for animals led him to make a unique choice. Instead of using the 50 cents his father gave him daily for lunch, he frequented an animal store, saving every penny to purchase fish and dog food. This early commitment laid the foundation for Alex's future as a devoted animal enthusiast.
The turning point came at 14 when he acquired his first German Shepherd, rescued from the streets of Yerevan. Recognizing the need for proper training, Alex sought out dog training programs to understand and connect with his newfound canine companion. His relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to various trainers who could mentor him in the art of dog training, behavior, and body language.
With a growing expertise in handling dogs, Alex's journey took a significant turn at 17 when he acquired his first Doberman. Over the years, he expanded his canine family, and by the time he turned 20, he relocated with his family to Los Angeles. Balancing multiple jobs to support his family, Alex's passion for dog training remained unwavering.
In 1995, he took a significant step by acquiring two Dobermans to ensure the safety of his wife and children. This marked the beginning of Alex dedicating his life to his true passion – dog training. In 1996, he welcomed a German Shepherd Show-line named Hustler into his life, further deepening his understanding of American dog training methodologies.
The year 1998 witnessed Alex venturing into breeding birds, selling them at swap meets to fund his ultimate dream – establishing his dog training company. Balancing his dedication to animals and his responsibilities to his family, Alex continued to work tirelessly.
The culmination of his journey occurred in 2001 with the birth of "All K9 Training," Alex's own dog training company born out of his unwavering passion for dogs. Striving to create positive relationships between owners and their dogs, Alex offered his services for free, fostering genuine connections and understanding.
Outside the realm of dog training, Alex indulged in two significant hobbies – animals and music. His personal menagerie boasts over 200 different species of birds, showcasing his commitment to understanding and caring for diverse creatures. In addition to the avian members of his family, he shares his life with his six dogs, including two German Shepherds, one Doberman, and three Belgian Malinois.
Alex's journey, from a young animal enthusiast in Armenia to the founder of "All K9 Training" in Los Angeles, is a testament to passion, dedication, and an unwavering love for the incredible bond between humans and their furry companions.
